Hi Edward,

I’m sorry but I’ve never seen this error and I don’t have much experience with MC.

Having never received the specific error, your description below is a little too vague to zero in on specific troubleshooting methods. I think at this point there are more questions than answers:

- Is it a data or program problem ?
- Do you get the problem when using the Sample Data as well ?
- What are you actually doing when you get the problem ?
- Do you get the problem from all workstations ?
- “did something to the server and changed a machine” does that mean that they changed the server pc ?
- Can you run Adagio’s System Status utility (chksys) ? is it reporting any issues ?

Pete

Edward,

The 'Error Loading Rates' means that your currency files do not contain the currency/rate type the program is looking for.

The IT department has lost/changed the path to the currency files.
Currency files are/can be shared between databases and could be located in either \Softrak\System\ or if the client came from Plus \asp.

You might need to contact your local consultant to help get them back.

Hi Edward,

In your data folder there should be an ADSPROF.xxx (where xxx is your specific company data extension or selector). If you view the file (notepad), in the [ADS] section you should see the line "Currency=...somepath..." and this is where the system expects the currency files (mc*.LD4) that the company is using to be.

It may just be that you need to correct the path in some way or maybe restore the files from a backup to the correct path.
