I just installed the new Gridview upgrade and went to my workspace to create a new report and I get this error message

“Either the dictionary or the table ‘@R56ACST’ in the dictionary is missing. “

Next message

“Unable to create a connection to the database.”

Am I missing some files ?

What are you trying to create the report on? There may be no data in the file that you are trying to report on. If it is a posting journal, try to print it prior to trying to report on it.

I had a client with the same scenario as you - they upgraded to GV 9.0C and when they went to open a View, they got the "Unable..." error message.

It turned out that the View was using a composite table that no longer exists in the latest version of GridView. Since it was a simple view, we recreated the view from scratch. The new version has the ability to create your own composite tables, and that's what we did.

@R65ACST is t6he A/R 6.5A Customer Master. I suspect you are using AR 9.0 and you selected the wrong table.
