How do we shorten the amount of time it takes to start OE? How do we shorten the amount of time it takes to open new clients once Adagio is up and running?

We are using the newest version with all of the latest patches. The server and all of the workstations have plenty of RAM, hard drive space, and CPU capability to spare.

Have you checked the through put on the hard drives? Or to put it another way are the hard drives keeping up with the read write requests.

Are you running an Internet Security / Anti-Virus product on your network (Server & Clients) ? If so, is the "Real-Time" or "On-Access" or "whatever your product might call it-type" scanning configured to NOT check the Accounting Program and Data folders ?
