Hi Zafi,
The problem is due to one of two reasons:
1) There is a file called crw.ini, located in the C:\Windows (or C:\Winnt) directory. It should contain a path to the \QRASP directory and the QRTABLES.INI file. This path may be missing or incorrect.
2) There is no QRASP directory or QRTABLES.INI file within.
The solution:
- First verify that you have a QRASP directory and a QRTABLES.INI file within that. It probably will be on the network, on the same drive as the other Accpac Plus programs.
- Using the workstation that has a problem, create a new Custom report.
- Accept the usual settings until you get to the screen that asks you to select the Program and Company for the report. From this screen, click the Edit Company button.
- At the top of the screen that appears, there will be a field called 'Accpac Drive', and you need to select the drive that has that QRASP directory. Selecting the correct drive and saving it will update the pointer file with the necessary information.
- You don't have to continue; cancelling report creation will not lose those changes.
The other 2 workstations are working correctly because this CRW.INI file is set up correctly in their respective C:\Windows directories.
Regards,
