Hello All:
What's the best way to reprint a range of invoices that are in historical data (3+ years ago)?
The user can print individual invoices, but printing ranges of invoices, doesn't appear be allowed. (invoice number appears in blue, range can't be extended)
Gridview isn't an option as the person needing these invoices needs to see actual or physical reprinted copies.

At this time, the 'Print Invoices' (and all other print document) function on the Order Entry menu is keyed towards the Current documents rather than the Historical documents. So you cannot multi-select a number of historical invoices and print/email them all.

How many invoices are you wanting to reprint at once?

There are bunches of invoices in assorted ranges - perhaps as many as 500 invoices in total. (ouch!)
Unfortunately, there is no choice. It's got to be done to comply with a GST audit.

Thanks

This is for a GST audit! Give the auditor the data and your NFR of GridView to look at it.

Hi Andrew:
Good suggestion.
We'll can try that route again. We've tried offering pdf's or a gridview report. They wanted hard copies.

Their refusal doesn't make sense in view of Service Canada's attempts at improved service and desire for increased efficiency.

We used to archive data-files annually so that we could recall data and transactions. But you've made Adagio so good, where everything is available and accessible to users, that there's no longer any need.

This is a pretty rare situation.
Thanks folks,
Cary R.
