Tax statuses are set up in the PO Company Profile and should be the same as those used in Payables.
Tax groups are set up in the PO Maintenance function. It's here that you would determine the % tax charged for each jurisdiction.
Tax groups and statuses are assigned to vendors and to items. Adagio modules charge the lowest tax assigned. For example, an item might be taxable but if the vendor is exempt, no tax will be charged.
Similarly, if the vendor is taxable but the item is not, no tax will be changed on the item.
