We are updating from Adagio Receivables 8.1A. When we run the update package to go to A/R 9.0A we get an error message that states: Adagio Receivables does not exist in the selected folder h:\softrak\crwin. This is the folder that we installed A/R into originally - we tried all the other folders under the softrak directory and always get the same error.

Please help.

Adagio Receivables 9.0A now installs to a \softrak\receivables directory instead of \softrak\crwin. So if you are installing the upgrade then \softrak\receivables is the new correct location.

Please note that before you can install a Service Pack for Receivables 9.0A, you must first install the Upgrade. This is because Service Packs cannot be installed on top of previous versions of Adagio software, only the same version. You may need to re-download the Receivables Upgrade again and install this (with your new serial number and installation code). If you re-download the upgrade then this will have all current service packs applied to it.

After installation, you will need to change your shortcuts to point at H:\softrak\receivables\receivables.exe instead of the old program location. It may be that during the upgrade, you chose to delete the old \softrak\crwin program files, in which case the existing shortcuts will no longer work and give an error as you indicated.

The upgrade from 8.1 to 9.0 is a major undertaking and should be done with some consultation with your Adagio consultant. At a minimum, read all of the documentation about the upgrade and first upgrade on a copy of your data and your other Adagio modules to make sure everything runs to your satisfaction prior to going live.
