When trying to access Order Entry from one work station we get the following message: Access violation at address 00404CDA in module “OEWIN.EXE’. Read of address 03FC5F48
Everyone else can access the program?????

Which version of OrderEntry? If they are signing on from an Icon, please make sure that the icon properties are correct.

When exactly does the error appear? Do they get to the sign-on screen?

I have tried the icon, I’ve tried to access from Inventory program, I’ve tried to access from Start Menu, All Programs, Adagio, none are working.

I do get the sign on screen but when I click on Open, I get the message. The Data Path and Ext seem to be ok, they are the same as the other programs which I can access. Data Path: F:\SOFTRAK\DATA\GID Ext: PAR

What is the release date for OrderEntry 81C. The current service pack is (100507). It should be installed.

If you still get an error, I will need to know:

Which version of Windows is on this station?
Do you have CustomRP or ModRP directories under Softrak\OEWIN on F:?

If the station is a Vista or Windows 7 station, turn off UAC and try again.
