Our AR Customer History takes an excessively long time to load (more than 20 seconds) for all customers whether they have very little history or a lot of history items. How can we speed this up?

Yes, 9.0A (090928). Maybe we're keeping transaction history for too long? I can't get into the company profile right now because everyone is on the system, but will check tonight. The thing is.. I like keeping the history. It's information that's good to have.

I just received the notice for that Service Pack this morning. I'll install it tonight. Will that fix the issue with the slow loading history?

This is from the release notes for the new Receivables service pack:

When you selected Historical transactions for Receivables on the Transactions tab in edit / view customer, loading the grid was noticeably slow when across a network. In addition, if the Transactions tab was the last tab you visited in the customer, the next time you opened a customer it was noticeably slow.

So it has been corrected? Nice!

Thank-you Steve, I meant to report it too, but never got around to it until yesterday. I thought maybe it was associated with us keeping too much history. Glad that we can keep our history and have our speed too! =)
