Hi Support,

I'm attempting to access a data set on my local drive. All Adagio applications, including Lanpak, are installed on my local drive. I'm using an NFR package, so I have 2 lanpaks for my use.

Here's the problem: for reasons I cannot understand, I am occasionally blocked from accessing my data because apparently I am using all of my Lanpaks. Normally, this would make sense if I were working in two separate modules concurrently, but this happens even when zero modules are open. I am not being interrupted by server crashes (again, all modules are on my local) shut downs or restarts or - to my knowledge - any other such issue.

What can be done to get around/fix this issue? Am I not properly closing my modules, perhaps? I've had this problem with other programs, where the system did not recognize that a user had logged off and blocked others from accessing the respective data sets.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Update: our local techie just passed through and told me Lanpaks on the local drive are a no-no and that a full re-install is the safe way to go.

There should only be one install, on the server.
