HI

I was having a discussion with Adagio reps today and they suggest I post here. I am using Vista Business 32bit (disc said sp1)

When using Purchase orders and selecting Misc Charges from the finder field I constantly have to change the size of the Finder box. I have 7 misc charges to select from and max it seems to resize is to the length of 5 misc charge lines. I'm wondering if this box default can be made larger in future releases since it's a pain to select the last line of misc charges when you need to resize first.

I understand you said it should remember the size but it doesn't completely remember the size and comes back smaller than it should be. I know it might just be vista but if you can help in the future that would be great.

Thanks

Hi Treasure,

Whatever the probem is, it is not Vista. I am able to resize the Misc Charge finder screen larger and it is remembered. I believe these remembered form sizes are stored in the Windows Registry, so perhaps this is not being remembered for you based on your rights to make changes there.

Are you able to save the form size of other screens?

If you are using a tight secuity setup then you need rights to modify H-Key\current-user\softrak\purple solution to be able to update the grid settings.

I'm the administrator of my computer and I have full rights to Adagio mods. I'm not sure where to look in Windows Registry.
When I look in H-Key\Current-user there is no Softrak\Purple file. I believe all other modules you can check remember window size so they do not appear to be a problem. I don't believe you can do that with P.O's. Thanks Anyway.

Windows sizing works in PO, it's just a matter of getting to the bottom of why it does not work for you.

Also my answer is wrong. You need to look for H-Key\current-user\purple solution.

Likely this is something we will need to look at directly with you.

The correct Registry Entry is:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Purple Solutions\Purple IR\Settings
