I am probably just relapsing to my misspent youth, but I could swear that I heard/read somewhere that the new upgrade was going to allow for coding changes without doing a whole GL entry or unpost and that would have it appear in the GL as though it had been coding appropriately right from the get-go. (with an audit trail of course) Is this just a silly dream, or did I see/hear that? Thanks all.

Sorry, but I am not sure which coding changes you are referring to. Could you explain what you mean? Changing the Account numbering system (which would come from the Toolkit for Adagio add-on program from Dakota Software)?

Sorry, per usual I didn't give enough information. ie: I have coded an entry to one gl code instead of another and have to fix that coding.

No worries.

So to confirm - a batch was entered with a posting to Account A, where the intention was to update an existing Account B instead. And you were wondering if you could simply edit the posted transaction to change the account from A to B, with the required audit trail.

If this is what you are looking for, I'm afraid that this was not included as part of the upgrade feature set of Adagio Ledger 90C. In order to remove the effects of a posted transaction, you must Unpost the batch and 'Delete Transactions'. Then make the correction to the Unposted batch and then re-post.

One new feature that was added was to Recover batches that were accidentally deleted and not yet posted.

The Toolkit for Adagio also has an 'Edit G/L Posted Transactions' function for editing entries in posted batches. You'll find more information and screen shots on the Dakota Software website.
