Hello, Edward!
The most likely scenario is that you installed and converted an Order Entry upgrade and/or installed a new version of Sales Analysis, but did not run Sales Analysis and convert the Sales Analysis database. You then printed and cleared the audit lists in Order Entry, creating batch files for Sales Analysis to retrieve.
Sales Analysis still has the unconverted database and demands that you retrieve old version batch files before converting. However, the batch files are in the new format created by Order Entry.
You can check this by making sure the batch files SRSHIPTX and SRCRNTTX in your data directory are evenly divisible by 272 (this means they are ready for the newer version of SR).
If they are, use the following procedure to convert your SR database without losing your batch files. (Substitute your company data extension for XXX in the following instructions):
1. Rename the batch files:
REN SRSHIPTX.XXX *.OLD
REN SRCRNTTX.XXX *.OLD
Start Sales Analysis and convert the database.
2. Rename the saved files:
REN SRSHIPTX.OLD *.XXX
REN SRCRNTTX.OLD *.XXX
Start Sales Analysis & retrieve data from Order Entry.
If this is not the problem, we would need more information. The message "Unknown Item/Price file" is similar to one received if they were using OE without IC, and then just recently installed IC - if this is the case, then there would be another procedure you could use to try to resolve this issue.
Good luck - let us know what happens.
