Expected Ship Date in Adagio OE

Hi All,
We're using Adagio 8.1B and Crystal Reports for Adagio 8.5.
I'm trying to include the expected ship date field in a report from the details of the order for each line item(not from the header).
I cannot seem to find the field in any of the databases. Any idea on which database it is in?
Thanks!

Hi All,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Perhaps I've set something up wrong. I'm looking at the database titled "OEW65 Orders and Invoices Details". The last field in my list is 'Decimals', and there isn't a single Date field in the database.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,

Check the date stamp on the "QRTOEW65.QRW" file which is located in the X:\QRASP\ folder (where X is your network Adagio drive).
If your file is an older version (mine is dated 01/15/2010 and I have the "expected ship date" field), that could explain why you're missing the field. I cut an older version of this file (03/10/2008) into my QRASP folder and the next time I opened Crystal, the expected ship date field was gone.
Reinstalling the latest OE 8.1C should update this file to the most current version.

Hi Ryan,
You're good!
The date on that file is indeed 03/10/2008. Is there any workaround besides installing OE 8.1C?
We're not ready to update all of our modules, as we use a 3rd party program that won't work with the new ledger version.
Thanks,

Talk to your Adagio consultant. They should be able to send you that QRW file for you to manually cut into the QRASP folder (after backing up the original).

You can install V8.1C without upgrading the other modules. It's compatible with AR V8.1A and IC V8.1A

Hey All,
It's working now - thank you very much.
One little problem I'm having is the field is not updating right away.
If I go into IC then change the field and post the order, then refresh my report, the detail expected shipdate is not updated.
Any thoughts on why there would be a delay?
Thanks,

Perhaps because the "expected ship date" is on the line in OrderEntry, not Inventory?

Sorry, that was a typo - we are changing it in the detail line of the order, in OE! The database it is in is OEW65 Orders and Invoices Details.

A Crystal report contains its own copy of the data until you hit the refresh button. Is this what you are seeing?

I think this is what I'm seeing. The data in OE is fine - it's saved and updated as soon as we change it - no problem there.
It's the data in crystal that's not refreshing right away. I've tried checking and unchecking the 'save data with report' box, and it doesn't seem to fix the problems.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Sorry, there is no "idea". Crystal keeps its own copy of the data which must be refreshed if you want to see the updated numbers. That's the way it works.

Hi Andrew,
That's the problem I'm having though. We are refreshing the data, but Crystal isn't pulling the refreshed OE data.
Perhaps I'm asking on the wrong forum?
Thanks,

Is it (the report) linked to the database you think it is? Perhaps its running off a local or backup copy of the data?

If you exit Crystal reports and go in is the data refreshed or does the report "never" refresh.
