Firstly, I assume when you indicated that you reinstalled Adagio directly to your hard drive, this means you installed the programs locally onto a workstation, rather than a network location. Is this correct?
When loading the Invoices 81B program, the data can be identified when browsing folders by a QIGLOB data file, and it will be found in the same data directory as any other program data such as Ledger or Receivables. When you started Invoices, did you click Open or Create? Hopefully 'Open'. If you clicked Create and data already existed, you would get an error that data already exists - similar to what you saw and reported.
If you are clicking Open and are getting an error, please post the exact wording of the message you see, so that we can assist.
