Hi, David,

Please confirm the exact version and release of Receivables you updated to. What version did you update from? another 9.0A or an 8.x?

I'm using Receivables 9.0A(090928). Just retested and the function worked as expected - it worked. The function hasn't changed since the first release of AR9.0A. It does look a little different from previous AR8.1A and 8.0B though.

Double click on the charge in the grid. Set the date to the date of the recurring charge invoices you want to create and check the 'Create recurring charges batch' option. After you click Okay, you'll see the date in the grid beside the charge you'd selected. Click the Create button and you'll receive a message indicating the batch that has been created within Invoice Batches.

AR 90A(090928) Just completed the latest service pack released after I did the AR 9 update. Updated from version 8 about a month ago.
Ran through all the steps (agina and several other times) and it says no recurring charges were created. When I go to the invoices batch there is a batch there with 0 entries. This worked perfectly with AR8 before the update.
Ran the data integrity check with no errors.

Further testing.
Have 2 companies to process. One company has only one charge. It works.
The second company has 3 charges. When recurring charges were run for the first time in version 9 only one charge was generated. Cannot run the other two charges at all.
Again no integrity errors.

Hi, David,

Do you still have a backup of the data you converted from AR8.x?

Can you send it and your AR9.0A data to me at support@softrak.com? If any of the zips are greater than about 4mb in size, please upload them to our DBR site instead and reference Recurring Charges. (If needed, the DBR site is www.softrak.com/dbr).

Hi, David,

You're right, the only recurring charge that appears to be working is the TAX charge.

However, on further investigation looking at the Customer grid, I notice that there is only one customer that is 'Active'. This just happens to be the one customer for which a TAX recurring charge was created and this is the only recurring charge set up for this customer as well.

Receivables 9 respects the Active and Inactive statuses we assign to our customers. If you reactivate the other customers for which you want to generate invoices, you will be able to generate recurring charge batches for them using the other two charge codes as well.

OK that solves the problem.
But why are all our customers inactive now? How would that have happened?
