I now have 2 bank accounts. Thru AR I want to enter cash receipts going to my second bank account. I have added the bank account to the general ledger. How can I enter cash into a different bank account?

Receivables accesses the GL bank account via the Control Account Set. You can also blank out the control account set for cash entries and manually select the GL bank account.

Do you also use Adagio BankRec, as if so then the Payment Methods may also have influence as the the GL account (a bank clearing account), and the actual bank account would be defined in BankRec.

Yes, to have a selectable code be able to point to your second GL bank, you need to create a second control account set record.

To prevent any confusion, you do not need to set up a second AR account in the GL.

You should see a field on your existing Control Account Set which points to your older GL Bank account.

Therefore, as Support says, you will need to create a another Account Set and assign the new Bank account to it.
