When trying to import invoices from a CSV file, one of the check boxes, "Header fields on each record" is no longer there. The import does not work correctly without that check box. The check box does exist on an older backup of the files, but is not in the current active files. Is there a fix or should the A/R software be reinstalled?

What is the version and release date of the Receivables you are using?

Registration information says version 8.1A, CD says 8.0A 060625 and so does the About selection from the Help pull down menu.
Could I just copy the A/R import related files from the backup to the live data? Thanks in advance for any advice on this. Don't understand why the checkbox is there on older backups and no longer visible on the live data.

If Help | About says V8.1A (070920) then the checkbox should be there. If it says 8.0A then somehow you are running an earlier version, and should reinstall V8.1A. You probably downloaded the upgrade from the web.

The Help/About also says 8.0A as does the older backup of the data. The Check Box "Header Fields on Each Record" is supposed to be there in version 8.0A. It's no longer there for any of the import features in the A/R. The check box does exist on an older backup. I guess the best thing to do would be to back everything up and then re-install the A/R software again. I can't explain why it would disappear unless the those software files for import feature became corrupted in some way. I'll try a re-install and let you know the result.

Are you running AR from a shortcut on the Quick-start bar (on the lower left beside the Start button)?

If so, check the properties of the shortcut.

The Adagio installation makes a copy of the previous program before installing. I have seen instances where Windows changes the shortcut when this occurs. So, even though the new version is theer, the shortcut points to the old version. Editing the shortcut properties solves the problem.

No. Running the A/R from the icon created on the Desktop when the workstation was set up. The paths for all the modules we use are correct on each workstation.

According to the help | about you are running v8.0 - you need to install the v8.1 upgrade.
