Pleasant good day to all,its been a while!


Our year-end has just concluded, i have done the year-end process on our test data which looks fine, however i have a problem with the GL.

Here's the problem, our Financial statements for 2007 has not been finalized by our auditors and i do expect there to be final adjustments for 07/08.

If i were to closed period 08/09 from my test i will not be able to do piror year posting only to 08/09. Is this right?

If so is there a work around.

If you're referring to Adagio Ledger 9, it allows posting to 2 fiscal years.

At the moment, you are able to post to both the prior 2007/08 and current years 2008/09. However, once you open the Next Year 2009/10 (which must be done prior to closing the current year), posting will be allowed to the current 2008/09 and next years 2009/10 only.

You're correct, that you would no longer be able to post to the prior year 2007/08 also.
