I have need to open some old OE files. we are on the current version 8.something. How far back can I open in years ? 2005 ? If not with this version then what do I need to do to setup an old dummy version to view transactions in OE & maybe GL also. I have the data on backup but get error messages when trying to access.

I think you can open any old data set. You may have to first open AR and IC first both of which may require some conversion, particularly IC.

You can open your data back to V6.1 of Accpac Plus with version 8.1B of OrderEntry.

What error messages are you getting when you try and open the data?
