I created a Gridview using table "G/L Posted Transactions" to help with bank reconciliations. I added the fields: Fiscal Year/FP/Trx Acct/Trx Date/Trans Description 1/Trans Description 2/Debit/Credit and filtered with {Fiscal Year} = "2010-",{Trx Acct} = " 1010". Now I would like to add a query so that we can choose which FP (Fiscal Period) we want to view. Can anyone help me with what Query command to use??

There's no such thing as adding a "query". I'm hoping you mean you want to add another argument to your filter.

The argument is

{FP} = QUERYNUMBER("Enter FP" )

Where "Enter FP" can be replaced by whatever prompt you want to appear on the screen when the report is run.

Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking for. The only problem now is the "Enter FP" window has a default entry of "4.84176073927235e-305". How do I make it default to nothing?
