I just bought a new printer/copier and when I print invoices from the invoice program it leaves the word "invoice" of the paper. When I print a statement from the receivables program it leaves off the bottom saying"overdue 30, 60 or 90 days. Any ideas. I have not changed anything on the program. But when i print to my 2 other printers its fine.
any ideas

Some printers require 1/2" or 5/8" of blank space all around. I had to adjust some reports for another client for the same reason.
Try leaving larger margins.

A margin that is 1/2" or 5/8" instead of 1/4" or 3/8" should not make too much difference in how the printed page looks.

Before making any changes, use Save As on the File drop down menu to create a new specification similar to the old one.

On the one that you change, be sure to go to Specification Options on the File drop down menu and change the title of the modified report so you know which was changed.

Of course, you can keep both and choose which to use when printing, or assign a specification to the user at each desk.

Hi Kevin

I'm assuming it looks good on the screen when you preview the invoices or statements. Try it and let us know.

Also, try doing the same thing from another workstation. If it previews and prints fine on the other workstation, then there is a setting that needs to be adjusted on your current computer. Let us know.

I can print from multiple stations on 1 of my good printers and no problems but if I print on multiple stations to this one printer there is a problem. It slso not just the stuff I am loseing at the bottom of the page but in the invoice program I have a box at the top of the page that says invoice that is missing. I seems with just this one printer. I spoke to the printer guy and he told me its the program. Help me

Printer problems often require that someone look directly at the issue. Is your Adagio consultant aware that you're having these problems?
