Hi Joanne,
The Account Maintenance in Adagio Ledger (or Accpac Plus GL) is separate from that in the Adagio Financial Reporter. That means if you edit the Account groupings for assets, etc in the Edit Account Groups function, this will not automatically update the groupings for the Financial Reporter.
When you load the Financial Reporter, go to the View menu and select Account Groups. These are the account ranges that will be used as defaults for your newly created financials.
Also note that if you have a working financial statement (balance sheet, income statement, etc), then add new accounts or change groupings, this will also not automatically update the reports. In this case, you will have to edit your report to get the changes.
What I would suggest is to find a cell where you see that amount is different than what you were expecting. Is it for a single account, a range of accounts for a single department, or a range of accounts for multiple departments? The problem might be related to how the formula is defined.
Please post here what the formula says, so we can see what might be happening. It will be something like "=ADGET('gldata.M',....)". If the dots contain a Cell reference (ie 'A13' instead of an actual account number), then please also post the contents of the cell refered to in the formula.
