Edit Retrieved Batch BR 8.1a (070922)

We have 'Allow edit of Retrieved Batches' selected in the profile, but the 'OK' selection is always greyed out while trying to do a minor edit to the batch.

Ideas welcomed!

Hi, David,

The option doesn't really allow for edit of AP batches, only read access to them. Editing a batch retrieved from AP could cause problems.

The help will be updated regarding this for the next release of BankRec.

Thanks....I agree that editing could cause problems. Maybe just change the button to 'View'.

Perhaps but the option really applies to retrieved batches in general, not just AP. It's possible you might want to edit a retrieved payroll batch as it does send details to BR. You might want to change the distribution.

In this case the client realized a manual check in AP had the wrong check number and had hoped to fix the number in bankrec w/o reversing and reissuing in AP.
