We printed physical inventory worksheets for a location and exported to a workfile. We will soon be ready to import the physical inventory worksheet with the newly counted quantites.

I notice on import it gives us the option of adding new records. If we add more item codes and quantities to the spreadsheet than those that were on the original workfile, will they import correctly?

In the past we have only used the Transactions/Physical Inventory/Edit-Enter Physical Inventory in which case we could not add any items to the existing worksheet.

I tried adding new records and importing and it works. This in itself is a big advantage over the manual entry method.
