Hi There,

I'm trying to close my Fiscal year in Ledger and I cannot clear Batch Status Report because there is a batch in error. The problem being, I cannot view the batch in error to either a) fix the errors or b) delete the batch.

I thought I deleted the batch, and it doesn't show up in the View Batch dialog box, but it DOES show up in the View Batch Status dialog box. Can anybody please help me?

You need to contact your Adagio consultant. He/she has a fix for this situation.

More detail: earlier versions of Adagio (and ACCPAC Plus), did not correctly set an internal flag on deleted batches, but "got away" with that because they also did not check for the correct setting. GL 9.0 does check.

The solution will be to install a "hot fix" from Softrak and then run the data integrity check which will correctly set the flag on the deleted batch(es).

The good news: this only occurs on the first year-end after upgrading to Ledger 9, and will not show up in the future because, of course, GL 9 correctly sets these indicators,

Ralph,

I cannot get a hold of my dealer right now and we need to do this right away. I can do the install myself, but I need to know where to get the Hotfix can you please tell me where to download it or email it to me? It's pretty critical that we get our year end done today.

Hi, Lucas,

A hotfix is generally made available to dealers only as it is a response to a specific problem reported by select users and doesn't go through as rigorous QA testing as do upgrades and service packs.

I've emailed you a link to the fix and instructions.

The hotfix solved the issue. Installed and ran the Data Integrity Check. One error was found where none were before and the Rebuild option fixed it. The Bath Status Report was cleared just fine after that.

I need the hotfix mentioned above. I am experiencing the same problems and I'm in the middle of year end processing. Could the hotfix be emailed to me as well?

We have contacted our consultant and they don't have the hot fix. they are unavailable at the time and I need to proceed with Year End.

I have updated my profile, could you please email me the hotfix?
