I have my Statement of Earnings Year to Date and Last Year to Date and on two of the GL's the Last year to date display is wrong. When I drill down it shows correct as it does if I look at the GL. Both of the displayed balances are way out and only on these two GL's. Any ideas.

There's a formula that is wrong, or the accounts that are being summed are not corect. "Wrong" means that you know what the "right" number is. What's the difference in the calculation between the two numbers?

Andrew: I can't see anything wrong with the formulas. They read =GLAMT(F$6,$880) & =GLAMT(F$6,$870). The amount showing on the first one is (2,502.97) but when I click on it it displays the year transactions with a total of $16,895.73. The second one displays (18,573.63) and the balance of the year is 2,977.51. The current year is correct and all the other GL's are correct both current and past year. I thought when you drilled down it shows how the displayed amount is arrived at but in these two cases it isn't.

It is always helpful to include the version of the Financial Reporter you are using. See Help | About Financial Reporter and note the version number on the 2nd line.

The version is 2.1.1.1497

=GLAMT(F$6,$880) & =GLAMT(F$6,$870)....are you sure this is the formula in the statement? Most statements would have something like $B80 not $880.

You are right. Looking more carefully it is B80 and B70.

If this does not fix the problem then you will need to have someone look at the statement. I am surprised that it works on some companies but not on others.
What value is in cell $F6 ( both the formulas you wrote reference that cell )

F6 is "LYY" from the column spec line of the smart sheet. All the GL's refer to it but only these two display an incorrect answer. Why would our Financial Reporter not be a current version? Is it not part of the Ledger module, which is up to date as we are on the "plan" for service paks and upgrades.

What report is telling you what the "right" number should be? Have you carefully checked that the account number range on the report is correct for the different company? Perhaps someone has added some different accounts.
