Hi Rhoda

This message could occur for a couple of reasons -

1. Either the data was in a different location when the report was originally created,
2. The report was originally created with a different version of the QR tables for the program's data being reported on
3. You have reinstalled QRWIN, but have not reinstalled the 3rd Party application (QI) that is being reported on (this seems like the most likely cause).

To resolve it, you can try one (or all) of the following suggestions, as necessary:
1. If you have reinstalled QRWIN, you will need to reinstall QI afterwards (I think this is all that you may need to do).

2. If your ACCPAC data has been moved to another location OR if you are trying to open and run a COPY of a report that was created somewhere else, using another set of data, you will have to do a 'Verify Database' procedure to tell QRWIN where the files are that you want to report on.

To do this, when you are in QRWIN Designer, go to the 'Database' menu option. Select the Visual linking Expert, to make note of the exact tables being used in your report. When you are done, exit out and now select 'Verify Database' from the bottom of the Database menu. Follow the steps to bring your report up to date.

More information on this can be found in your QRWIN manual.

Hope this helps!
Regards

Hello again Rhoda

Have you tried any of our previous suggestions? You have not really given us alot of information here -

1. Has anything changed on your system or been updated recently (i.e. have you reinstalled QRWIN, or have you reinstalled AR?)

As noted in our previous response, you should try reinstalling QI - BUT - if you have installed/reinstalled/upgraded OR installed a ptf for AR or possibly IC, you MUST reinstall QRWIN, and then after that, you must reinstall QI (this could be Quik Invoice Plus for DOS, Quik Invoice Plus for Windows OR Adagio Invoices).

NOTE that you may need to have somebody else in your office look into this (i.e. Network administrator or tech person) or you can call your Dealer for more assistance if you are not the one that normally installs/reinstalls software. If you are in a network environment there could be rights issues and such that need to be administered properly in order for the reinstalls to take effect properly. I cannot help you with this type of instruction.

Until we have more details to go on from you, this is the best I can offer at this time. The error you first posted occurs when QRWIN cannot find the tables it is looking for. This occurs most often when something has occurred to 'break' the links to those tables. The most common cause of this is as described above.

Please follow these suggestions - it should resolve the problem.
