There have been no transactions affecting inventory for December 2008 in my IC. i am putting an inventory count for november 30th....however, i found out 2 hours in the process that there was an adjusting batch that was not posted.

can i continue with the count and then after processing the count do i process the adjustment batch...how does this affect my inventory?

or i should i post the batch before posting the inventory batch....help please.

As long as you are entering the count into the physical inventory worksheet that was created at the same time you went out and counted inventory, then it doesn't matter whether you post the adjustment batch first.

In fact, there is no reason to hold off posting inventory activity while you are waiting to enter the count. Adagio is smart enough to compare the count against the quantity on hand at the moment the physical inventory worksheet was created, not against the current quantity on hand.
