Hi,
On my desktop I can search for a job number by using F6 in the "find" box. A box then pops up with 3 tabs. The first tab on my computer has a drop down box with 7 different ways to "find" the job. Other computers in our office only have 3 different choices for finding the job. How do I get the additional search features on all computers?

Thanks so much,
Karen

Hi Karen,

Do you mean that some users have 3 columns that display onthe F6 Smartfinder for jobs, and other users have 7 columns?

The grid on the Smartfinder screen can be added to include as many or as few columns as desired. If the column is displayed, it is available to be used for searching. To change the layout, simply double-click on the grey title bar of the grid. If you are a user that has access to the Column Editor, you will see this open. From here, you can add/remove the desired fields for display.

If you do this while logged into Adagio as SYS, you can also 'set this view for all users'. Perform the same steps as above and also check this 'set view for all users' box within the Column Editor.

Hi Karen,

The customizable Grid has been in Adagio since Day 1. Did you not know about it?

It's available in all modules on virtually every Grid. Just double click the column titles.

Hi Andrew,

Yes, I did know about it; however I didn't know that I needed to log in as administrator to change the find function for the other users. Tried to do it logged in as them, but it did not work.

Not that I don't forget about some of the useful features from time to time - I certainly do!
