We recently installed OE8.1B, and when processing manual credits (ie not from an invoice) other then line 1 the return checkbox is defaulting to unchecked causing credits to go through without inventory being put back in the system. Is there somewhere in the setup to make the return box default to checked and then it can just be unchecked if necessary as most of the time the product is returned?

Can you duplicate this problem in sample data?

OK, I can duplicate this behaviour.

It is related to this setting in File, Options: Auto add items on documents.

I will forward this problem to R&D to be fixed on a future release.
