I am copying A/R files from one set of data to another set of data on a daily basis, but I do not want to copy the file that contains the company profile. Can you tell me what the name of that file is? Thanks Linda

Thanks. I tried not copying the ARGLOB file. Some of what I am trying to do worked, some didn't. To explain: I use one set of Order Entry files only to input item numbers to generate picking tickets. It is not part of the Adagio modules that I use for the accounting for the "main" business. However, this "O/E for picking tickets" uses the same A/R customer information. This is the reason I am copying it on a daily basis. I am copying AR*.dat from the "main" database files to the A/R for "picking tickets" data. But this wrote over the company name and the background color in the A/R for "picking tickets". When I didn't copy the ARGLOB file, it did not change the company name, but it did change the background color. Is there another file that has the information for the background color?

Try not copying ARWININI and if this does not work then don't copy ARWOPT

PS: Copying partial dataset can get you into serious trouble!
