Make sure that the shortcuts you are using to launch Ledger are pointing to the right program. Ledger V8.1 is found as the \softrak\alwin\alwin.exe while Ledger V9.0A will be loaded from \softrak\ledger\ledger.exe - the icon for Ledger V9.0A is different too.

Do you get the error message right when you try to open the ledger module, or not until you try to open the actual data set?

Have you converted your data to ledger 9? Once it's been converted to 9, you won't be able to open it in 8.1 anymore.

Hi, ANV,

So, one of three users is able to log into Ledger 9.0 without receiving an error message. And, that user is not opening a company dataset at all.

However, the other two users receive an error message when they try to run Ledger 9.0.

What is the exact error message that the other two users receive?

Hi, ANV,

This is the error message that Adagio Ledger 8.x will give someone when they try to open a dataset with GL8.1A that has already been converted to Adagio Ledger 9.0A.

Make sure that, when users are running GL8.1A, the datapath they are pointing to on their GL log in screen is pointing to a datapath that is still in GL8.1A format.

If you are not meant to be running Ledger 9.0A on your live data yet, you will want to be certain (if you do run the program), the datapath you are pointing to on the Ledger 9.0A log in screen is either pointing to (a) sample data or (b) a backup copy of live data that is stored in a different folder than the live data is.

If you are still experiencing difficulty, you might want to contact your Adagio dealer for direct assistance.
