I'd like to use the "statement group print" for some of my financials but this option seems to be turned off on my menu and I can't access it. How do I get this option turned on??? Thanks.

Hi Ian,

Are you using Adagio Ledger or Adagio FX? If it's Adagio FX, is this the Pro version or the Standard version?

If you are using Adagio FX and not the Pro version, Statement Group Print is not an available feature. This would explain why this and a few other selected features are disabled from the menu. To get this option, you need the Pro version.

If you are using Adagio Ledger or Adagio FX Pro, you should always have access to Statement Group Printing. Only the SYS user will have access to editing Statement Groups from the View menu.

I'm using GL9.0 and I am the sys administrator and still can't access this feature. I can call our Adagio rep but thought if it was something simple then even I might be able to take care of it.

Yes, but please confirm that you are logging into Adagio with a UserID of SYS and whatever your organization has set that user's password to be.

Even if you're logging in with a UserID other than SYS, as long as you have Group Security to Print Financial Statements, you should have access to print statement groups. However, you will need to have at least one statement group defined (and only SYS can do this) before the File | Print Statement Groups option will become active.

From the main menu, select View | Statement Groups. When the Statement Group tree is expanded, are any groups visible other than the 'Statement Group' title?

If logged in as SYS, right click and select New Group to begin creating a new group. Creating Statement Groups is in Chapter 5 of your Financial Reporter manual and is a topic group in the online help.

Trust this helps.
