Hello. Somehow I managed to do something wrong this morning and now I have this error message. I am running Adagio G/L V9.0A. I have not done the last couple of service packs. In the morning I do an integrity check, then do day end in O/E and posting in A/R and then retrieve and post in the G/L. Everything worked fine until I tried to view accounts in G/L at the same time as I tried posting the retrieved batches. I came up with an error, which I didn't write down, so am trying to remember. "Could not access GLPOST file as it was being accessed, posting not complete." So I closed out the view accounts and continued on my way. I was able to print the posting journal which is correct, so I thought everything was fine. Now later in the day when I try to access G/L it will not let me. Message: "Incomplete posting. Only Data Integrity Check will be available." So I do a data integrity check, everything comes back ok. Tell me, what do I have to do to get back into G/L?

Hi Taylor,

If the data cannot be Rebuilt within the Data Integrity Check function, then the data needs to be repaired.

FYI: This particular issue was fixed with one of the recent service packs that you may not have yet. Until this is installed, you really shouldn't have View Accounts/Budgets/Transactions open at the same time as posting batches.

Thanks, how do I go about repairing my data? The posting in G/L actually happened. The numbers are there as I checked it before getting out of G/L. The integrity check did not give me any information about rebuilding damaged data, it said everything was okay. I also have other companies in G/L. I can access those files without the error message. If I do the upgrade, would that fix my problem?
