If we "enable" the salesperson to "edit" the sales CQ module, then does that enable that salesperson to edit A/R??

We need the ability to restrict importing & setting up of customers or editing customers. We want a master control of that function as it relates to customer setup. we chose the customer number & then set terms etc based on each situation. If sales people can set them up who knows what joys we may run into. If sales people can edit in AR then we would be well hooped.

Hi Bruce,

Don't let your salespeople Edit | Customers in SalesCQ by creating a security group.

Andrew:

If I wanted to disallow edit customers but allow edit notes, how do I set that up in SalesCQ? In AR there is a security option for this but I don't see it in SalesCQ.

Hi Doug,

That's an oversight. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
