It sounds like you were using the older version of IR with QR, and have since purchased the IR65 upgrade? If this is so, then you would have designed reports using the older version of IR tables w/QR.

What you should have done then is, after you installed the QR65, you should have installed the OLDER version of IR first (to restore the link to the older IR tables), as this is the version that you WERE using when you first designed the reports.

Since this was not done, you should be able to get these older tables by reinstalling the older version of IR, then reinstalling the new one again. (NOTE: If you have just purchased the IR65, then you will have the updated QR tables included with those disks - if you purchased IR last year (2000), you will need the updated tables. UniSoft will be able to provide you with them, I believe they are on their website) You MUST have the most current tables before completing the following procedures.

Did you also upgrade QR to V6.5 from an earlier version? If so, then there will be an extra step involved in upgrading your reports as you will have to 1st convert the IR61 reports to the newer version of QR, then you will convert them to the newer version of IR65.

1. Make sure if you are on a network that everyone is out of ACCPAC (precautionary measure) and they remain out until you are finished the procedures.
2. Re-install the older version of IR and say yes to install the tables for QR when prompted. Now, reinstall IR65A and again, say yes to install the QR tables.
3. Go into QR Designer - Options - Install Data and ensure that you can see the older IR table listed & if so, tag it by pressing <Enter> on the selected entry. (Is the IR65 table listed as well? - It would be much easier if it is.)
4. Now, go to Options - Configure, and enter "Y" to the option "Convert Reports", then exit out of the Options menu.
5. Open your IR report (you should see a message about report conversion in process). Once it is finished, SAVE the report. It has now been converted to the newer version of QR65.
6. Repeat step 6 for each of your IR reports.
7. Now, go back to Options | Install Data and tag the IR65A table.
8. Open your IR report and SAVE it. It has now been converted to the new version of IR!
9. Repeat step 8 for each of your IR reports.
10. Go back to Options | Configure and set Convert Reports back to "N"o.

You should now check your reports to make sure everything converted properly and check for any "empty" fields on the report. You will have to remove those fields and replace them again, then save your report to complete the process.
