I would like to know if I could date the cheques April 1 2008 even if my fiscal year is ending Mar 31 2008 and I didn't open yet the new fiscal year in Adagio Payable. The invoices I am paying are dated Mar 31 2008 but the cheque have to be dated April 1 2008.

Is it really the Year end in Payables that you are concerned with?

Adagio Payables does not require you to perform the Year End function. If you are not concerned about the Vendor YTD Statistics including these checks, you can proceed.

If it is Ledger that you are concerned with, I hope that you are using Ledger 90. It allows you to open 'Next Year' without closing the 'Current Year'.
