I have been trying to update our adagio ledger from 8.08 to 9.0A, I was able to update all of our other modules however when I try to do the ledger I recieve a message saying, Conversion Failed. Error occured when checking the exitance of the GL fiscal years datafile. I cannot find anything in any of the books I have to correct this.

Hi, I did integrity checks in all of our modules, invoices,receivables,payables, and ledger, they all completed with no errors

Hi Angela - This has happened to me on a couple of occasions. If you have a backup of the Ledger prior to the attempted conversion, restore the file to a temporary folder to make sure the data is the correct dataset. Then delete the GL*.* files in your current data folder and copy the GL files only from the temp folder where you extracted your last backup. Once youhave done this, attempt the conversion again. You will have to do this for both your companies.
I would be curious from Softrak's tech team if this would be the normal procedure and what would cause this ews error. I know the above procedure has worked for me.

I'm having the same problem. I've attempted the conversion numerous times, with the same result. I can open the data in 8.1A, and DIC is clean.

So did anybody have any luck with solving this problem?, I did what you told me try Lars, and it did not make a difference. Also we have several computers on our network so I tried updating it on another computer and i received an error MSG saying that my the new ledger was not compatible with the version installed on this computer......
