Hi,

I watch the web seminar yesterday and the presenter was demoing how you can use the F5 and F6 keys to bring up the Find and Search windows.

When he pressed the F6 key, he took the time to mention that a new feature was added that allows to search more than 1 field at a time.

On my system this feature does not exist. I had asked the question after the demo to know if they were using the same version as we are and in fact they did.

Is there an option that needs to e turned on in order to see this second search field?

Hi Yann,

You require Adagio version 8.1A to see the multiple criteria search within the SmartFinder. If you have a version of Adagio 8.0 or earlier, you are limited to a single search criteria.

If you are using version 8.1A or later, there is no option that has to be set - the 2nd criteria will automatically appear as soon as you select any of the conjuntions (AND, OR) from the drop down field. You can have up to 5 search criteria.

ahhhh!

It was all about the AND/OR drop down.
