I thought the inactive accounts in GL 9 would not be "ssen" so you wouldn't be able to accidentally select them.

I'm seeing my inactive accounts all the time.

How do I change it?

I searched for ‘Inactive Accounts’:

Under ADD ACCOUNT Status:

Click this checkbox if the account is active; to make it inactive, turn this checkbox off by clicking it again to remove the checkmark and make the account inactive.

You can post to Active accounts. You cannot post to Inactive accounts. Transaction posted to inactive accounts will be written to an error batch.

From Editing An Account:

You can edit account information at any time. The screens are the same as those found when adding an account. You can also use the same screens to edit account budget data, edit account forecast data and edit account history. For more information on either of these two topics, click on the topic.

• NOTE: The columns that display in this and many other Adagio Ledger grids may be changed using the Column Editor. This option is not available on the "View accounts" grid, since you probably need to be able to see all the accounts in your General Ledger for inquiry purposes. It is available on the "Maintain Accounts" and Finder Grids for Ledger.
