How do I import a ledger batch with a comment line?

Your sample data gives me the format for a normal batch import (glimpbtc.xls) but the example does not include the comment line.

I regularly create entries for clients which then get imported into their live data but I find it would be useful to add some additional comments explaining the entries. We use the .xls format for importing.

If you want to import a batch containing comment entries, then you will need to use a CSV file format and the header/detail import type.
