We're currently using an ACCPAC Plus product called Pic & Pac that allows us to select and order range and then (in essence) ships all the items within each order. We would then to a "SHIPPED QUANTITY UPDATE" in Order Entry and all those orders would then be ready for invoicing.
Is there a way in Adagio OE to ship multiple orders? It looks like it's not possible to select more then one order at a time, so we think we have to select each individual order, then select SHIP ALL - one order at a time.

You're right - that's the way Adagio OrderEntry currently works. The ability to ship multiple orders has been suggested - we're certainly aware of places where it would be very useful.

At the moment, all we can offer is a customization to implement that feature. It's certainly high on the list for V9.0 of the product, but that's quite a way off. At the moment, all I can suggest is that you'll save a lot of time in Adagio OrderEntry doing other functions (such as copying and restoring orders), that perhaps this limitation won't be as onerous as it appears.

No problem. It would be nice to have that feature - and it's good to know it's high on the list for v9.0 - but it's not a show stopper. There are plenty of other feature in Adagio people do like.

I may have to take you up on the 'customization' offer. I just spoke with the guy here who does the EDI processing and he now thinks he has to have the capability to ship and invoice multiple orders at the same time. I can see why - right now he's dealing with >800 orders for one of our customers. If he has to open each one of those orders, click on 'Ship all', then invoice the order, then move on to the next one... He would be doing nothing else for a couple of days.

My question(s) at this point would be:

- How quickly could you implement something like this?
- How much would it cost?
