Hello. I have not been able to upgrade from Adagio FX 8.0E to any other higher version such as 8.0G or 8.1A. When I run the executable for either service pack, I will get the following error when I press 'update:'



Version 8.0G and 8.1A are the only two service packs listed on the support site that are higher than the 8.0E copy I have. Is there an upgrade between 8.0G and 8.0E that I am missing? I have reinstalled the program and had no luck. Tech support has not returned my call in two days, and I have yet to get any use out of the software I bought. I am both disappointed and concerned about this.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Hello Paul,

You would have to be on an Upgrades Plan to upgrade to a higher version (with its new features). Service packs generally fix problems discovered in a release. Did you subscribe to a Plan?

The version identification can sometimes be confusing. 8.0E is a different release from 8.0G. The former is dated in Mar 06 and the latter is dated Mar 07.

In other words, going from 8.0E to 8.0G (or newer) is not done by Service Pack. It is done by purchasing an upgrade or by subscribing to the yearly upgrades plan.

Are you looking for a feature that isn't available in version 8.0E?
