While working in Gridview (8.1A), I called up the Help Window and received an Internet Explorer error 'Page cannot be displayed' within the right content pane. It seems to work in O/E (8.1A) without issue.
Sounds like the install didn't put the .CHM file properly on your local drive. Perhaps try a re-install? The help file (with a CHM extension) should be placed in the \softrak\gvwin subdirectory.
Thank you Andrew. I will look for the misplaced CHM file, because it did exist prior to the GridView upgrade. I will reinstall if said CHM file cannot be found.
I had this same problem. I installed updates for gridview 8.1A and now cannot retrieve the help file from my computer (yet the help file can be accessed from another computer).
