Fritz asked me to have a look at this problem and here's what I can add to the analysis thus far:
>>> Please note that my testing was done remotely on their live data as well as on a copy of their data in a stand-alone (WinXP Pro SP2) environment at my office. IC 8.0B (061102). No ChkSys problems/errors at their site nor my office. Aside from ChkSys I also tested for Read/Write Access and found no Problems at Fritz.
<1> The error messages are still as initially reported by Fritz
<2> In addition to the above, immediately after the 1213, one gets "Attempting to perform operation on unopened I/C Temp Account file". On pressing [OK] the error repeats twice more before the user is returned to the Item Maintenance window.
<3> It doesn't matter what you do in the Edit Item window. Even if all you do is open the window and immediately press [OK] the above errors are received.
<4> Even with the errors, the item record appears to update OK.
<5> If I create a new item the same errors occur
<6> All elements pass the DIC OK except Receipts in the Application Integrity Phase - numerous "Receipt XXXXXX has non-existing item X-XXXXXXXX" type errors are reported.
<7> No problem with the sample data at BAMPH nor Fritz
<8> Created new "dummy" I/C data set at Fritz and received the Temp Account related errors once on creating first item. Never saw the error again though I edited the first item several times as well as created several other items and edited them as well. Quite worrying to have seen the error that first time though.
<9> Their live data continues to have the errors.
