Hi Barb,

If you edit a location code, there is a function where you can see and change the allowance or disallowance of items at that location. Either all items, a range of items, or selecting individual items.

There is a second function from the Edit / Item Maintenance flyout menu called 'Item List For Location'. This allows you to select a single item code and choose which locations this item is allowed at.

In Adagio Inventory, you do not need to set these allowances for items at locations if 'Allow Items at all Locations' is set in the Company Profile, as Andrew indicated. When creating a transaction, Adagio will not prevent assigning an item to a location not yet allowed. And posting the transaction will automatically set the item to be allowed at that location.

Based on your comments, it seems that Purchase Orders for Adagio is not quite following the same rules regarding the 'Allow items at all locations' setting as Adagio Inventory and OrderEntry. It should not be giving a 'This item is not available at this location' message if 'Allow items at all locations' is set, unless PO for Adagio has it's own availability logic.

If you require the allowances to be set before any transactions are posted, you need to do it manually via the functions mentioned at the top of this posting.
