Hi Steve,

One idea I've seen work before is to create a new department specifically for the forecast (next year) budget. It's easy to to this with Adagio Ledger - just copy an existing department and all the accounts at the same time. Then enter the forecast values as budget amounts for this new department. You wouldn't ever post actual values to this department.

There will be an easier way to handle all of this in the next upgrade for Adagio Ledger.
