We are using the direct method of emailing, no Outlook Express. It appears to work just fine except that some customers are complaining that they are NOT receiving their emailed invoices. I email 50-60 at a time and some receive the emails and some say they don't. I am very carfull when I submit to just add emails to the queue. Then I review the queue to make sure that each email has an email address.
The problem we are running into is that the receipt is a read receipt only. Most people/organizations have read receipt responses turned off/suppressed. We are receiving some "Read" receipts. Delivery receipts are sent by the client mail system not the end user and we have a better chance of receiving acknowledgement of end user responsibility.
Is a delivery receipt implemented (I have not been able to find), if not is one planned or have there been other requests for delivery receipt. We think it would be very important in the eyes of our customer.
