I cannot duplicate the scenario where the drill-down is not accessible for users with department restrictions. I was able to get all the way to the posted details. Perhaps more information is needed with how everything is set up.

As for GridView custom views on the Inquiries menu, you already can limit views to a particular security group. As you know, GV workspaces saved in a \softrak\alwin\views directory will be accessible from the Adagio Ledger Inquiries menu. However, you can also create a sub-directory under the Views menu - with the directory name the same as the Security Group code - and only users belonging to that group can see these GV workspaces. For example, if you have users belonging to a sercurity group 'ADMIN', then create a directory \softrak\alwin\views\admin and save a GV view and workspace file there. Only those 'ADMIN' users can see this workspace.

The same security features are available if you use customized Crystal Reports from the Reports menu - create a \softrak\alwin\customrp\admin directory.
